SPRING 2016 TRYOUTS

The Potomac Valley Thunder (PV Thunder) is very excited to kick off the 2016 Spring AAU season. We will field PV Thunder AAU teams for girls in Grades 2 through High School, led by an experienced volunteer coaching staff. Please note the following:

  • The PV Thunder conducts an "open" tryout process which means that all interested players are invited to tryout and be evaluated for selection. Whether you are a returning PV Thunder player, an experienced AAU player who may be considering other options for the season, or a player who is new to the AAU level of competition, you are invited to participate in the 2016 season tryouts.
  • It is important that all tryout candidates make every effort to attend both tryout sessions in order to receive the most complete evaluation.
  • Interested players (and parents) must be willing to commit to two practices per week and games/tournaments on the weekend.
  • Tryout Costs are $10 per player.  You only need to pay once and this will cover both tryout sessions.
  • Player registration will be completed at the start of tryouts.
